The Pritzker Playspace is the site of regularly-changing, daily programming designed for infants and children through age five. Additional early learning opportunities can be found in the Kraft Artabounds Studio, and in the Treehouse Trails and Kids Town exhibits.

Caregivers are welcome to breastfeed or bottle feed anywhere in the museum. For extra privacy, visit the Caregiver Center in Kids Town. Oversize chairs also are located throughout the museum for your convenience.

Earthly Wonders

Discover the beauty of natural materials. Hunt for pine cones, sort sticks and stones, and dig for shells in the sand. Arrive when the doors open for an interactive literacy experience.

Kids Create

Share in the joy of process art and sensory exploration as you play with clay, water, paper, paint, wire, and other materials. This program takes place in the Kraft Artabounds Studio.
