Dinosaur Expedition

Image of Dino

"With this trip, students were able to tap into their prior knowledge about dinosaurs and put it to use through hands on experiences. They had a genuine interest in the activity and relished the chance to share ideas and help each other complete their task."

Deyanira Gutierrez, Bilingual teacher

Workshop Overview:
During the Dinosaur Expedition workshop, students will become “junior paleontologists” and experience the excitement of discovering a new species of carnivorous dinosaur named Suchomimus from the Sahara Desert. They will enjoy exploring CCM’s reconstructed dig site, as well as working in teams to unwrap, investigate, and hypothesize about dinosaur fossils.
