CCM creates and facilitates regularly-changing, multisensory programs in the Pritzker Playspace, where infants and children through age five can explore materials that stimulate their natural interests and engage them in open-ended discovery. Additional early learning opportunities can be found in the Kraft Artabounds Studio, and in the Treehouse Trails and Kids Town exhibits.

The McCormick Foundation is a Lead Supporter of Early Learning Initiatives.

Earthly Wonders

Discover the beauty of natural materials and all the different ways they can be used. Design a collage, sort sticks and stones, and dig for shells in the sand! Arrive when the doors open for an interactive literacy experience.
