During a facilitated workshop, your group will experience an
in-depth guided visit to one specific exhibit in conjunction
with a hands-on workshop led by a museum educator. It’s a perfect
way to kick off or culminate a themed unit in your classroom! Our workshops
and pre- and
post-visit activities are aligned with the Illinois Learning
Standards. The symbols next to each workshop can help you relate your visit
to both
the standards and your curriculum. For information on registering,
see
FAQs.
Please note: We do not offer onsite facilitated workshops from June 16-September 30, 2008. If you are interested in registering for a CCM to Go Workshop at your site, please
