"My students really enjoyed the activities at the Arts in Action workshop. Back in the classroom, I wanted to expand the lesson by teaching students how to incorporate their bodies to create different forms of art. The students discovered that art is not just using paints, markers and crayons. Art can be wild and fun."
Alena McCarthy Wong, 1st Grade teacher
Workshop Overview: In the Arts in Action workshop, students will explore the squiggly, straight, long and short world of lines in our Kraft Artabounds Studio! This workshop uses visual art, creative movement, and literacy to help children recognize that lines of many kinds are everywhere. Students will create lines in tactile, fun and wacky ways with unique art materials—including their own bodies!
