CCM offers innovative programs that make math, science, reading, the arts, and discovering the city’s vibrant cultures fun for the whole family. Passport to the World, Community Resource Fairs, and hundreds of other events and activities bring playful learning opportunities to visitors every day of the year.

Arts Day
Children and adults can discover their creative side with artist-led, hands-on workshops and playful art activities museum-wide. Join us for a day of painting, constructing, and creating, as you play with your art!
Arts in the Dark
Let the sights, sounds and smells of a summer night inspire your literary, visual and musical muse.
CCM Annual Health Fair
Get healthy, get fit and have fun during an evening full of interactive activities and vital resources to help you and your family get ready for a safe and healthy school year!
Chutes
Your arms will get a workout when you join us for some billowing parachute games.
Crash Testing
Create a small car, and test it to see how safe your passengers would be in an accident. Learn the importance of wearing a seat belt.
Family Prints
Do you have loops? Whirls? Arches? Some of each? Discover your uniqueness when you check out the patterns at the tips of your fingers and thumbs.
Food-O!
“Under the F…Fruit!” Play our nutritional version of bingo to learn more about the food pyramid and the five categories for healthful eating.
Homemade Music
Make your own instrument and express yourself with a tune or a beat.
