CCM offers a variety of ways for your troop to earn badges. Choose a Field Trip to explore the museum at your own pace, or attend a Scout Event at CCM.
CCM offers fun patches for troops participating in our scout programs. Souvenir fun patches are optional and are not included with the price of field trip or scout events. Patches are available in the CCM Gift Shop.
Field Trips for Scouts
Chicago Children’s Museum is the perfect destination for scout troops! A field trip offers your scouts a chance to explore the entire museum at their own pace and customize your journey. Earn badges while you play, create, and investigate!
Field Trips include:
- Group orientation
- Two hours to explore the museum
- Access to programs, which may occur during your visit
- Extension activity plans

Available Visits Times: Groups are welcomed between 10 am-3 pm, Monday-Friday.

Celebrate what make you unique and connected to the world around you! Make a stamp, tell a story, and be the story. Join us for hands-on activities designed to help you along your quest to celebrating what makes you special. This event is designed for Brownies. Inventor’s Mind | $11 per person
Sunday, Feb. 24, 2013, 10 am – 3 pm
Join us for a day at Chicago Children’s Museum that invites Girl Scouts to solve problems by thinking like an inventor! This event is designed for Daisies and Brownies and connects to “Inventor” badge, “Making Games” badge, “Fair Play” badge, and “Light Blue Petal—Lupe” award.
