Military, Civil Service, and Other Discounted Admissions
Chicago Children's Museum participates in the Blue Star Museums program each summer. In fact, we are proud to extend those benefits to active duty military families year-round. Members of the United States military on active duty receive four free admissions.
Chicago Children's Museum also honors other vital civil servants with free admission. Police officers, firefighters, veterans, and teachers all receive one free admission to Chicago Children's Museum year-round.
Kraft Free Family Night and Subsidized Transportation
Are you bringing a group of 35 people or more to Kraft Free Family Night? The museum offers subsidized transportation for 501(c)3 organizations serving low-income families each week on Kraft Free Family Night. Transportation is available on a first-come, first-served basis, so advanced registration is suggested.
To qualify for a bus, your site must have at least 35 people confirmed per visit, and your organization must provide proof of 501(c)3 tax-exempt status. Please contact us to learn more or request subsidized transportation.
Student Visits
Chicago Children's Museum offers a variety of ways for students, and the important adults in their lives, to experience hands-on, playful learning. All exhibits and education programs are aligned with Illinois State Learning Standards and are an ideal way to bring classroom curriculum to life. Click here for more information.

Play For All Events
Held the second Saturday of every month, Play For All events invite children and families with disabilities to experience Chicago Children's Museum's inclusive, multisensory exhibits and programs. The museum opens one hour early, at 9am, for pre-registered guests. The first 100 visitors to register receive free admission. Group opportunities are available. Parker Program
Throughout the school year, Chicago Children's Museum welcomes students with disabilities to explore the museum's interactive exhibits with specially-trained students from Francis W. Parker School as their guides. The program provides free transportation and museum admission to participating classrooms. For more information, contact us.
Community Family Membership Program
The Community Family Membership Program provides full-benefits memberships to low-income families served by 501(c)3 non-profit organizations for an annual fee of only $10!
Membership enrollment occurs twice a year. To qualify, your organization must provide proof of its 501(c)3 tax-exempt status. Please contact us to learn more or to enroll your organization.
Group Pass Program
Save on daytime group visits! The Group Pass Program provides discounted, two-hour self-guided visits for groups of 15 or more. Eligible 501(c)3 organizations serving low-income families receive one FREE pass for admission of up to 35 children and seven adult chaperones, plus deep discounts on all other future self-guided visits.
Each partner site is eligible for one free Group Pass per fiscal year (July 1 – June 30). To become a Group Pass Program partner, your organization must provide proof of its 501(c)3 tax-exempt status. Please contact us to learn more or to enroll your organization.
The PrivateBank Community Family Pass Program
Looking for a way to support independent family visits to Chicago Children's Museum? The Family Pass Program provides discounted, one-time admission passes for families of up to four people. When you enroll, your site will receive 20 FREE Family Passes per fiscal year (July 1 – June 30), plus deep discounts on all other future requests for Family Passes. To enroll in The PrivateBank Community Family Pass program, your organization must provide proof of its 501(c)3 tax-exempt status.
