Play It Forward
Chicago Children’s Museum’s 2014 Volunteer-a-thon
May 15, 16, & 17
Join us for Play It Forward, Chicago Children’s Museum’s first annual volunteer-a-thon!
Over the course of three days, 100 Chicago Children’s Museum volunteers will come together to donate their time, energy, and enthusiasm; raise $25,000 for educational programming; and kick off the summer with a burst of CCM fun!
You’ve heard of a walk-a-thon, right? Well, this is a volunteer-a-thon!
Here’s how it works:
- Register to volunteer on May 15, 16, or 17. As a volunteer, you will help facilitate an incredible line-up of fun arts, science, and literacy programming at Chicago Children’s Museum. There is a $15 registration fee when you sign up.
- Raise $250. When you register, you are pledging to raise a minimum of $250 to support CCM’s innovative facilitated activities. We make this super easy! You will get your own fundraising page with all the information you need to tell your friends and family about the great work you are doing for CCM and to ask them to support you.
- Experience the fun first hand! You will see the impact of your dollars and time when you come and volunteer at the museum. Our experts in early childhood education work tirelessly to develop innovative programs to add an extra layer of fun and learning to CCM’s exciting exhibits. By helping with these programs, you will unleash our visitors’ inner creator, experimenter, and poet, and inspire them to continue to play and learn all summer long!
You can also support Chicago Children’s Museum’s educational programs by making a donation to Play It Forward.
