Target Free First Mondays

CCM is proud to partner with Target to present Target Free First Mondays the first Monday of every month, when children ages 15 and younger receive free museum admission all day long. On Target Free First Mondays, CCM will offer special reading activities and performances for families—all created to connect learning to play and instill an early appreciation for reading.

Target has always maintained a strong commitment to education through its many arts and literacy initiatives and work with parents, educators, schools and communities across the country. Target Free First Mondays provides a great opportunity for kids and caregivers to experience the joy of learning together.

Groups of 15 or more must register in advance. Please see below for details.

Target Free First Mondays – Groups Registration (applies to groups of 15-50)

• Groups must pre-register two weeks in advance by calling 312.321.6539.
• There is a limit of two groups for each of the following time slots: 10:00 – 11:30, 11:30am-1:00pm, 12:30-2:00pm, 2:00 – 3:30, and 3:00-4:30pm.
• When registering, please provide contact information, number in group, preferred date, and time slot.
• Reservations are processed in the order received.
• One chaperone is required for every 5 children and must remain with them at all times. Chaperones must be at least 16 years old.
• Free admission applies only to children ages 15 and younger.
• Payment of $9.00 per adult must be received prior to visit. The regular admission fee of $9.00 will apply to any children exceeding the number included in your reservation.
• Please arrive and depart promptly. If you are late, you cannot extend your time in the museum.
• Free admission does NOT apply to groups of more than 50 people (if over 50, call 312.321.6539).
• Free admission does NOT apply Facilitated School Workshops.
