Join Chicago Children’s Museum’s Board of Directors on Saturday, November 9th in celebration of the wonder of childhood. The Make Believe Gala: Cirque! promises to be a night of enchantment, dinner, dancing, and philanthropic revelry as we raise critical funds for Chicago Children’s Museum.
While every childhood is different, at Chicago Children’s Museum we believe that every child deserves the right to live in a state of wonder. We believe that every child has tremendous capacity and potential and that it is our job to dismantle limitations and barriers. This is why Chicago Children’s Museum welcomes almost 140,000 children and families each year through free and steeply reduced admission programs. And this is why our programming specifically works to reach children who need playful learning experiences the most, children with teen parents, in foster care, who have a disability, living in deep poverty, or with an incarcerated parent.
At the 2019 Make Believe Gala: Cirque!, we will level the playing field. With YOUR help, we stand as a positive force in the city we love and for the people we serve.
The Make Believe Gala is black-tie, but we encourage guests to accessorize with rings of fire, a boutonniere that squirts water, top hat and tails, or a generous sprinkle of magic dust.
For sponsorship information or to learn more about the event please contact the museum’s Development Team at (312) 464-7714 or RachelC@chicagochildrensmuseum.org.
While children are at the heart of the museum, this event is not family-friendly.
