Veterans and active military receive free admission every day with presentation of valid military status identification.
Teachers, Firefighters, Police Officers, and Paramedics
First responders and teachers pay a discounted price of $12.95 per ticket by presenting a valid form of employment identification.
Museums for All Discounted Admission
Chicago Children’s Museum is a proud Museums for All partner. We offer Illinois families that qualify for state food assistance and are in possession of an EBT or WIC card a discounted admission of $3 for up to 6 people. To qualify for the Museums for All rate, the group must include at least 1 adult and 1 child age 15 or under. Learn more about Museums for All.
Field Trip Scholarships
The Chicago Children’s Museum Field Trip Scholarship Program is a need-based program designed to reduce financial barriers to CCM field trips and group visits. Learn more and apply on our Field Trip Scholarships page.
Play For All Events
The second Saturday of every month, Chicago Children’s Museum invites children and families with disabilities for inclusive, multisensory exhibits, and programs. The museum opens an hour early for these events, at 9 am, for pre-registered guests. The first 250 pre-registered guests receive free admission. Group opportunities are available. Educator and Student Researcher Tours
Teachers planning a CCM field trip, museum professionals interested in our space, or students looking to understand alternative learning spaces are welcome to visit the museum for free after 1 pm daily, when not accompanied by a child. Present an educator or student ID at our admissions area after 1 pm. Educators with specific observation needs or high school/university student groups of more than 10 people must pre-register by calling (312) 464-8249 or filling out our contact form.
Throughout the school year, Chicago Children’s Museum welcomes students with disabilities to explore the museum with specially trained students from Francis W. Parker School as their guides.
