SleepUnders | Chicago Children's Museum at Navy Pier

Does Suchomimus wear pajamas? Find out at a CCM SleepUnder.

A CCM SleepUnder is all the fun of a sleepover, designed especially for little ones who might not be ready for a full overnight. Featuring late night snacks, nighttime activities, and all the fun of a sleepover (without the sleepover part), it’s Saturday night done CCM-style.

Our first SleepUnder is Saturday, February 23 from 6 – 10 PM.

Come in your jammies to this after-hours, ticketed event and enjoy:

  • Kid-friendly late night snacks, including a make-your-own hot chocolate bar
  • Nighttime activities like pillow decorating and astronomy exploration with push pin constellations
  • A bedtime story edition of our popular Story Time with Drag Queens program

Let your kids experience Chicago Children’s Museum way past their usual bedtimes.

SleepUnder FAQs

What exactly is a SleepUnder?

Not every child is ready for a full museum sleepover (and not every parent is up for it). A Chicago Children’s Museum SleepUnder is the best of both worlds: It’s all the fun of an overnight—but at the end of the evening, you get to go home to your own bed.

Do I need to attend a SleepUnder event with my child?

Yes, parents and caregivers will need to attend the SleepUnder with their children and stay for the duration of the event.

Do I need to purchase a SleepUnder ticket for my child and for myself?

Yes, every SleepUnder attendee—both children and adults—requires a purchased ticket for entrance.

What age children will have the best time at a CCM SleepUnder?

Our SleepUnder events are best for children ages five and up.
