Pricing

How much is admission for a group visit to Chicago Children’s Museum?

  • Admission is for each individual in your group. Educators and group leaders receive complimentary admission. All children and adult chaperones pay the same rate per person.

  • Pricing is per person and pricing tiers are as follows. See the chart below for the tiered rate that applies to your organization. (If you wish to visit as a group that is not represented by one of these categories or are unsure which category your group belongs to, please email us at CCMReservations@ChicagoChildrensMuseum.org.)

Your Visit

What is included in a group visit to CCM?

  • All field trips are 2 hours long.

  • Admission to all of our exhibit spaces, including Cloud Buster, Climbing Schooner, Play it Safe, Kids Town, Michael’s Museum, Skyline, Dinosaur Expedition, and our current exhibit in Crown Gallery.

  • Orientation to the museum by CCM staff in our Group Center.

  • Play & Learning Facilitators, our experts in play, who help keep your group safe and engaged to maximize your experience.

  • Secure storage for clothing items and lunches (unrefrigerated).

  • NOW OPEN: Moen Presents Water City! A new water experience featuring a miniature Chicago cityscape where rivers and channels meander between skyscrapers that will immerse visitors in falling, flowing, sprinkling, pooling, squirting, and misting water.

What is not included in a group visit to CCM?

  • We do not have space to eat meals inside the museum. There is ample seating in the Navy Pier Family Pavilion and food court just outside the museum that does not require a reservation.

  • Access to the Art Studio is not guaranteed. Hourly workshops here are ticketed with start times on the half hour. Tickets are available free of charge at the Art Studio entrance one hour prior to each session. There will not be availability for an entire class at the same time, but some small groups may be able to enter as available.

  • Access to Tinkering Lab is not guaranteed. Hourly workshops here are ticketed with start times on the half hour. Tickets are available free of charge at the Tinkering Lab entrance one hour prior to each session. There will not be availability for an entire class at the same time, but some small groups may be able to enter as available.

  • Access to Pritzker Playspace may not be appropriate for your group. This facilitated exhibit is specifically designed for babies and toddlers ages 0-5 and is ticketed to ensure ample space for our littlest visitors and their caregivers.
